Who it鈥檚 for

This program is for people with some programming experience who want to get started in quantum computing, including:

  • Software developers
  • Computer science and engineering students and graduates
  • Math and physics graduates
  • STEM professionals building new skills
  • Managers looking to plan for the quantum future

You don’t need a background in quantum physics. Python is covered in the course, so experience in another programming language is enough to start.

Why learn quantum computing now

Organizations in finance, pharmaceuticals, logistics, energy and cybersecurity are already using quantum computing to help with problems that are too complex for today’s computers.

  • Get in early. The field is still young. Building foundational skills now can set you apart as the tools and opportunities grow.
  • Skills that aren’t tied to one company. You’ll work across seven platforms, so what you learn applies broadly rather than to a single vendor’s system.
  • Fits around your work. Study on your own schedule, with optional live sessions for support.

What you鈥檒l learn

Foundations

  • How qubits, quantum gates and circuits work
  • Key quantum protocols, including quantum teleportation and quantum key distribution
  • How the main types of quantum hardware compare

Platforms

  • Writing and running quantum programs in Python
  • Hands-on work with seven industry platforms: IBM Qiskit, Xanadu PennyLane, Google Cirq, Microsoft Q#, NVIDIA CUDA-Q, Amazon Braket and D-Wave Ocean

Algorithms

  • Core quantum algorithms, including Grover’s search and quantum phase estimation
  • Variational algorithms used for optimization problems

You’ll finish with a 糖心视频 micro-credential and practical experience you can build on through further study or work in quantum and advanced computing.
