David Turpin Building (DTB) – Building Automation System Maintenance

Building #237 – Legacy Controller #15 Upgrade

Facilities Management has contracted SRD Controls to update the Building Automation System DDC Controller in the fifth-floor closet room #A520. Taking advantage of Reading Break, this controller is responsible for running air handling equipment for the two lecture theatres in rooms A110 and A120 and some Northwest offices namely A132 – A144. Ventilation equipment serving all other parts of the building will continue to operate. The building will undergo normal morning warm up prior to the controller being replaced. Temperatures in occupied spaces mentioned may fluctuate throughout the day.

Following the controller upgrade, all the system Inputs and Outputs (HVAC, temperature sensors, heating control valves, etc.) will be tested to ensure they operate as expected.
