Human and Social Development Building (HSD) – Building Automation System Maintenance

Building #161 – Legacy Controller #27 Upgrade

Facilities Management has contracted SRD Controls to update the Building Automation System DDC Controller in the fifth-floor mechanical room. This controller is responsible for running all air handling equipment. Ventilation equipment will continue to operate in a MANUAL mode. The building will undergo normal morning warm up prior to the controller being replaced, and zone heating will continue to operate from localized controllers. Temperatures in occupied spaces may fluctuate throughout the day.

Following the controller upgrade, all the system Inputs and Outputs (HVAC, temperature sensors, heating control valves, etc.) will be tested to ensure they operate as expected.
