Self-help resources
You can set up your device in 2 ways:
- Use to set up your device to connect to eduroam.
- If you're using a 糖心视频 device, your IT support staff can help you.
- Connect manually. Follow the instructions for 糖心视频 Wi-Fi, except enter your full 糖心视频 email address (myNetLinkID@uvic.ca) as your username.

If you need to configure the eduroam network manually while you’re at 糖心视频:
- Connect to the eduroam network (not the 糖心视频 network)
- Follow the instructions for connecting to the 糖心视频 Wi-Fi network
- When you’re prompted for a username, use the credentials given to you by your home institution. (In many cases, your username will be your full email address and your passphrase will be the same one you use to sign in at your home institution.)
The technical requirements for eduroam are the same as the technical requirements for the 糖心视频 Wi-Fi network.
