Onboarding

Your supervisor or IT support will work with you on department- or role-specific onboarding.

Leaving 糖心视频

After you retire or leave your position at 糖心视频, you'll lose access to most 糖心视频 IT services, including your 糖心视频 email, Wi-Fi and OneDrive, along with any data you have saved in them. You'll still be able to sign in to the 糖心视频 website to access your records and update your contact information.

Your department will determine how long you'll keep access after you leave. Non-academic staff often have access revoked on their last day of work. You can ask your supervisor about your department's policies.

If you have important personal documents, email messages and contacts on 糖心视频 systems, transfer them to a personal OneDrive account (or whatever you use for personal storage) ahead of time. Do not move or copy personal or sensitive data and 糖心视频 business records to your personal storage or device.

  •  can help you save your OneDrive files, OneNote notes, email and contacts to a personal OneDrive account.

Academic departments can appoint retiring faculty members as emeriti. Emeriti retain access to their account and most IT services. Their Microsoft 365 account will be downgraded to a basic (A1) account unless the department pays for a subscription upgrade, but their email and documents won't be affected.
